These past three years that I have
participated and studied Choice's
curriculum it has been the most
rewarding school years I have ever
had. Before I started at Choice I
was getting D's and F's on report
cards and progress reports. I tried
my hardest to like school but I didn't
want to put in the time. Honestly, I
thought it was worthless trying to
get better grades because I saw it
as a waste of time. I thought to
myself, "There's no point in trying
when all I do is fail". When I came to Choice 2000 that's when everything changed.
Not for the bad but for the good. In my first year here my mind was set on "new
beginnings" and I made sure that the new beginnings were not going to come out
bad. I believed so hard that I completed two years of high school in one. Back
then there were quarters not semesters. Then when my second year came by I
completed my full year as a Junior and half of my Senior classes. I was actually
the school representative for Choice 2000 for two years. Now, because I worked
so hard I get to graduate in December of 2005. Six months before the other
students graduate. And start my career in cosmetology. The ladies that are in
the office, Gina and Jeannie are so helpful. The counselors are always there to
help. The principal, Dr. Cartwright, will help make your dreams come true. You just
need to help yourself, try your hardest and it will happen. Thanks to Choice 2000
I now have the skills and the drive to accomplish everything I set my mind to
and a career start that my husband and I can be proud of. I recommend this
school to everyone!
